About the Role

About the Practice

387 Veterinary Centre and The West Midlands Cat Clinic is an independent, single-site small animal practice established in 2007, serving Great Wyrley and surrounding areas including Cannock, Cheslyn Hay, Walsall, and Brownhills. The practice has grown organically by intentionally building a culture and team it’s genuinely proud of—a philosophy reflected in multiple awards for workplace wellbeing, clinical excellence, and client service.

The team of 30 includes 7 vets with advanced qualifications in surgery, dentistry, and feline practice, plus an Advanced Practitioner in small animal medicine, supported by 12 RVNs with specialist certifications in ECC, feline nursing, nutrition, and behaviour. The practice is RCVS-accredited with Outstanding awards in Client Service and Team & Professional Responsibility. Recent 2025 expansion added a second sterile theatre, new dental suite with X-ray, and enhanced staff spaces including a roof terrace. The practice has held Investors in People Platinum accreditation across three consecutive assessments (the highest standard) and was shortlisted twice for UK Employer of the Year.
