Looking for flexible nursing shifts with zero out-of-hours? This established four-site practice welcomes newly qualified RVNs to join a friendly, supportive team where you'll work across varied emergency and general caseloads.

🕐 Schedule & Rota

No out-of-hours or overnight work. 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with time off in lieu. Dedicated night team covers 24-hour emergency provision.

About the Role

You’ll join Abivale’s collaborative nursing team on a flexible part-time basis, working 24–32 hours across 3 or 4 days with 8-hour shifts. The role spans their Wallingford and Abingdon sites primarily, with occasional shifts at their other branches in Didcot and Wantage. Newly qualified RVNs are actively encouraged to apply, and you’ll benefit from a supportive environment as the practice is also a nurse training provider.

One key attraction: there’s no out-of-hours or overnight work. The practice operates a dedicated night team to cover 24-hour emergency provision, so you’ll enjoy a cleaner work-life balance with weekends on a rota basis (1 in 5 Saturday/Sunday with time off in lieu for weekend shifts). Bank holidays are shared across the team.
