About the Role

Join Amery Veterinary Group as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and become part of a clinical team that genuinely values collaborative, high-standard patient care. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity (40 hours per week if full-time) working across a well-established small animal practice with three locations in Alton, Bordon, and Grayshott. The Alton and Bordon sites are fully equipped for surgical and diagnostic work, while Grayshott offers a calm consultation space—so you’ll have variety in your working environment.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider practice team across all three sites

  • Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
  • Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
  • A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
  • Clinical Coach qualification (or willingness to train) is desirable but not essential

Benefits

  • Annual Leave: 6.6 weeks’ holiday plus your birthday off, with increasing allowance based on length of service
  • Learning & Development: £550 CPD allowance plus 24 hours paid leave for professional development; certificate support funded
  • Professional Support: RCVS and VDS fees covered by the practice
  • Family-Friendly Policies: Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental, and surrogacy pay
  • Healthcare: Private Medical Insurance and Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Wellbeing: Cycle to Work scheme and employee wellbeing initiatives
  • Pension: Workplace pension scheme
  • Additional Perks: Discounted veterinary care; voluntary benefits including Green Cars salary sacrifice scheme and access to discounts/cashback with hundreds of retailers
  • Career Progression: Clear pathways into Senior Nurse, Referral, leadership, clinical supervisor, mentor, and certificate holder roles
