About the Role

You’ll join Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists as a Veterinary Oncologist in their modern referral hospital based in Winchester, Hampshire. This is a full-time position where you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based oncology care to small animal patients within a multi-disciplinary environment that includes internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, neurology, physiotherapy, anaesthesia, and imaging specialists.

You’ll work in a genuinely collaborative culture where clinical excellence is paramount. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based oncology care to small animal referral patients
  • Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, neurology, physiotherapy, anaesthesia, and imaging teams to develop integrated, multi-disciplinary treatment plans
  • Lead and participate in clinical rounds and case discussions within the hospital
  • Contribute to the hospital’s continuing professional development and teaching programmes
  • Engage with referring veterinarians and pet owners with clarity and empathy, ensuring excellent communication and continuity of care
  • Support clinical research and development of oncology services within the referral hospital

Requirements

  • Board-certified (ECVIM-CA or ACVIM) or residency-trained in veterinary oncology
  • Strong clinical skills and demonstrated commitment to patient welfare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for team-focused work
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and registration with the RCVS (or ability to obtain)
