About the Role

Join Bath Veterinary Group’s Rosemary Lodge team as Reception Supervisor, where you’ll blend customer-facing excellence with team leadership. This full-time position (40 hours Monday–Friday plus one in four weekend shifts) sits at the heart of a busy small animal practice, giving you the perfect platform to develop supervisory skills while maintaining direct client interaction.

You’ll work across appointment management, payment processing, medication dispensing, and day-to-day admin, but your real impact comes from leading the reception team alongside the Hospital Manager and Practice Manager. Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage appointments with professionalism, ensuring every visit feels positive and welcome
• Handle payments, process banking, monitor petty cash, and chase outstanding accounts with tact
• Dispense medications and support clinical teams with administrative requests
• Lead, develop, and support reception team members, fostering a collaborative atmosphere
• Work closely with Hospital Manager, Practice Manager, and Clinical Directors to streamline daily operations
• Manage reception queries and maintain smooth workflow during busy periods

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service or reception/admin role
• Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Professional communication style—confident with both clients and colleagues
• Supervisory or team support experience preferred
• Calm, organised approach to fast-paced environments
