About the Role

Beaumont Veterinary Group is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable RVN to join their well-established three-branch practice across the Oxford area. This role offers genuine flexibility—ideally 40 hours across 4 days plus 1 in 4 Saturdays, but the practice is open to adjusting hours to suit your circumstances. You’ll work across all three sites, giving you variety and exposure to different teams and cases.

This is a hands-on nursing position where you’ll take the lead on your own nurse clinics and consultations, work alongside the veterinary team on examinations, minor procedures, and anaesthetics, and maintain the high standards of cleanliness and theatre setup that keep the practice running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Run your own nurse clinics and consultations, building client relationships independently
• Assist the veterinary team with patient examinations, minor procedures, and general anaesthetics
• Prepare and maintain aseptic theatres; set up facilities for the week ahead
• Contribute to the practice’s high standards of cleanliness and organisation across three locations
• Support specialist areas including laparoscopic procedures, orthopaedics, exotic pets, and reptile care

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) status—you must be registered with the RCVS
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient welfare and practice standards
• Reliable and ambitious—you’ll thrive in a supportive, collaborative environment
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and occasional Saturdays
• Based within commutable distance of Kidlington, Oxford, Bicester, Chipping Norton, or surrounding areas

Beaumont Veterinary Group operates three well-equipped branches across the beautiful Oxford area. All sites are RCVS Tier 2 Accredited and ISFM Silver Certificated training practices, reflecting their commitment to high standards and professional development. The practice boasts comprehensive facilities including aseptic theatres, multi-parameter monitoring, patient warming systems, X-ray, ultrasound, and dentistry at all three branches. Their Kidlington location offers additional expertise in laparoscopic procedures and orthopaedics.
