Blacks Vets Oldbury
Apply before: Mar 15, 2026
1 in 5 weekends
This is your opportunity to bring nursing leadership to a busy, growing small animal practice in Oldbury. As Lead RVN, you’ll take ownership of nursing standards and patient pathways while working collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Manager and wider team. On a 37.5-hour week with 1-in-5 weekends, you’ll have the autonomy to drive improvements in how patients flow through the practice—from admission to discharge—while ensuring every team member has the support they need to excel.
You’ll combine hands-on nursing duties with strategic oversight, identifying training needs, optimising workflows, and championing practice policies that deliver outstanding patient and client care. This is a role for someone who communicates clearly, stays organised under pressure, and thrives when given real responsibility.
Blacks Vets Oldbury is a dynamic small animal practice at the heart of the community, part of Linnaeus and Mars Veterinary Health. The practice is focused on delivering clinical excellence and creating a supportive workplace where nursing leadership is valued. The team includes the Clinical Nurse Manager and fellow nursing staff committed to high standards of patient care.
As part of Linnaeus, you’ll benefit from a wider network of practices, central support services, and access to professional development opportunities. The organisation prioritises staff wellbeing, clinical education, and career pathways for all team members.
