  • Collaborate with a team of five vets, six registered veterinary nurses, and five support staff across both sites
  • Work within the practice’s Care Frameworks to ensure consistent, compassionate patient care
  • Support the practice ethos and clinical direction set by the Practice Director and Clinical Lead
  • Contribute to the practice’s quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS registered)
  • Confidence and competence in routine small animal surgery and consultations
  • Strong team-working approach
  • Commitment to high standards of animal care

Benefits

  • Work-Life Balance: 6.6 weeks annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata), plus additional holiday for your birthday
  • Wellbeing Support: Private Medical Insurance, 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme, enhanced family-friendly policies (maternity/paternity/adoption/shared parental/surrogacy pay)
  • Professional Development: £1,250 annual CPD allowance with 40 hours paid CPD leave (pro rata), certificate support, access to the IVC Evidensia Academy, Vetlexicon online encyclopaedia, and research funding opportunities
  • Financial Support: £1,250 per annum via the practice Care Fund, BVA membership, VDS cover, and RCVS fees paid
  • Pension & Lifestyle: Company pension scheme with employer contribution, Cycle to Work scheme, Green Cars Scheme, voluntary benefits package, retail discounts and cashback, discounted treatment for your own pets at any IVC Evidensia practice
  • Modern Facilities: Digital x-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure equipment, tonometer, and more across both sites
