Join the daytime team at Campsie Veterinary Centre in Omagh as a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon on a fixed-term contract. Based in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Campsie Vets is a modern, well-equipped first opinion clinic that also runs an out-of-hours emergency service for local practices. You’ll have access to excellent facilities including endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery capabilities—giving you the chance to develop your surgical skills with cutting-edge kit.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care across routine check-ups, preventative treatment, and surgical procedures
• Work with dogs, cats, and small mammals in a first opinion setting
• Provide excellent client communication and service
• Contribute to a nurse-led practice with a strong emphasis on teamwork
• Support emergency and routine surgical procedures using modern equipment and imaging
• Adapt flexibly to the needs of the daytime team

Requirements

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS registered)
• Demonstrable experience in routine and emergency surgical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player mentality with a genuine passion for animal care
• Willingness to be flexible and adaptable
