Ready for part-time work that fits your life? Join Clockhouse where supportive collaboration, modern facilities, and genuine work-life balance mean you can bring your best to nursing without the burnout.

🕐 Schedule & Rota

No out-of-hours work. Practice closes Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Saturday mornings (8:00am–2:00pm) are shared on a 1:5 rota with time-off-in-lieu.

About the Role

You’ll join Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in a part-time position perfectly suited to RVNs with 1–2 years post-qualification experience who want to develop specialist nurse clinic skills. Working 16 hours per week across two days (a mix of early and late shifts, finishing no later than 7:30pm), this role offers genuine flexibility without the pressure of overnight cover—there’s no out-of-hours work at all, and the practice closes on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

You’ll be based in Stroud, a charming market town in Gloucestershire, where you’ll have access to excellent small animal facilities including a dedicated operating theatre, dental theatre, separate cat and dog wards, and isolation kennels. The practice emphasises collaboration across teams, with regular social events (everything from ninja warrior to pottery painting) that build a real sense of community.

Saturday mornings (8:00am–2:00pm) are shared on a 1:5 rota with time-off-in-lieu, so you’re never stretched thin.
