Client Care Advisor

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, creating an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door. This full-time position offers the perfect blend of client interaction and behind-the-scenes coordination, working 40 hours per week with a 1 in 3 weekend rota (Saturday and Sunday).

Your role bridges the clinical team and the clients—ensuring smooth consultations, managing payments and future bookings, and coordinating the day-to-day running of the practice using the management system. You’ll handle everything from comforting worried pet owners to celebrating the joy of a first puppy visit, bringing genuine warmth and professionalism to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, welcoming demeanour and provide immediate support upon arrival
• Manage payments, book future appointments, and coordinate scheduling using the practice management system
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of practice services and additional offerings to guide clients confidently
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative documentation and day-to-day routines
• Provide exceptional client service during visits, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits
• Support the clinical team by keeping the practice running smoothly behind the scenes
• Handle client enquiries with calm professionalism, whether discussing pet care or addressing concerns

Requirements

• Strong computer literacy and confidence using practice management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping people and their pets
• Ability to remain calm and attentive under pressure, managing multiple priorities
• Natural organisational skills with attention to detail for administrative tasks
• Enthusiasm, drive, and a positive attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Flexibility to work 1 in 3 weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
