About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position working at Creature Comforts, a well-established small animal practice located in the heart of St Johns Wood, London. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, setting the tone for their visit with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Working alongside skilled veterinary professionals in a beautiful clinic, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every client and pet feels welcomed and looked after from the moment they walk through the door.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets with a warm, friendly attitude and make them feel comfortable and welcome
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally, managing appointment bookings and sending appointment reminders
- Manage the reception calendar, ensuring all client details are correct and up-to-date
- Provide clients with accurate information about services, treatments, and products
- Assist pet owners with booking details and help explain treatment plans and follow-up care instructions
- Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area and keep client records organised and confidential
- Process payments and manage billing accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with veterinarians, nurses, and team members to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Assist with clinic events, promotions, and community outreach activities
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly, offering creative solutions to enhance satisfaction
