About the Role

Join Cundall and Duffy Veterinary Surgeons as a full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeon in beautiful Scarborough. This is a first opinion practice where you’ll work with a small, friendly team that genuinely values work-life balance. The role includes one in three Saturday mornings, though the practice is open to discussing flexible rota patterns to suit your lifestyle.

Based in this vibrant university coastal town on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors national park, you’ll enjoy fantastic opportunities for surfing, diving, sailing, cycling and walking—just a stone’s throw from historic York. You’ll be treating an interesting caseload with access to experienced colleagues and specialists within VetOracle for support on complex cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first opinion small animal veterinary care with an interesting and rewarding caseload
• Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team of veterinary surgeons and nurses
• Contribute to high standards of veterinary medicine in a forward-thinking, RCVS-accredited practice
• Participate in one in three Saturday mornings (flexible arrangements discussed)
• Support and mentor team members where appropriate
• Engage with professional development and pursue certificates of interest with company support

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (degree or equivalent)
• RCVS registration
• Genuine interest in first opinion practice and high-quality client care
• Team player mentality with willingness to support colleagues
• Flexibility around working arrangements is a plus

About the Practice
