Registered Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal

About the Role

You’ll be joining Easipetcare in Dartford as a key member of the clinical nursing team, delivering comprehensive nursing care to a varied caseload of small animal patients. This full-time position runs 40 hours across 4–5 days per week, with a manageable 1:3 Saturday rota (time given back in lieu), meaning you get genuine time to rest and recharge.

Located in central Dartford with excellent transport links and free on-site parking, the practice sits in the sweet spot between London’s vibrant amenities and Kent’s local charm and green spaces—ideal for balancing a rewarding career with a relaxed lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of inpatient and surgical nursing care
• Assist with anaesthesia and patient monitoring
• Support consultations and run dedicated nurse clinics
• Provide exceptional client education and relationship-building
• Maintain rigorous hygiene and infection control standards
• Mentor and support Student Veterinary Nurses and VCAs where appropriate

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
• A proactive, reflective approach to learning and continuous improvement
