Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

Elizavet is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their close-knit team at their West Hampstead clinic. You’ll work full-time across 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work, bringing variety to every shift—from patient consultations and inpatient care to advanced surgical procedures and anaesthesia support.

This is a rare opportunity to work in an independent practice equipped with state-of-the-art facilities: in-house CT scanning, advanced ultrasound and X-ray equipment, two surgical theatres, a dedicated hydrotherapy room, and a fully equipped dental suite. Whether you’re newly qualified, returning after a career break, or an experienced RVN seeking fresh challenges, the team welcomes diverse backgrounds and experience levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Support inpatient nursing care and nurse-led consultations
• Assist with theatre nursing across a wide range of surgical cases
• Provide anaesthesia support and monitoring
• Perform pharmacy and dispensary duties

Requirements

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (current and valid)
• Minimum 2 years’ veterinary nursing experience (hospital or referral practice preferred, but not essential)
• Strong clinical skills and organisational abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Passion for delivering high standards of patient care
• Proactive, curious mindset with enthusiasm for continuous learning
