About the Role

You’ll be joining Farnham Veterinary Hospital, a fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Farnham, Surrey that accepts complex cases and sits at the heart of a multi-site practice group. This is a full-time position working a 4-day week on a rotating shift pattern (38 hours), with one weekend every 4 weeks and a day off in lieu to balance your time. The hospital team includes highly skilled nurses with diverse expertise and specialisms, and you’ll rotate through theatre, wards, and consults to gain broad experience and keep your role varied.

Farnham nestles in the Surrey hills, surrounded by beautiful countryside and historic attractions—including the excellent Tilford Brewery. With easy access to London (just over an hour away) via major train stations and airports, you get the best of both worlds: a peaceful market town setting with urban opportunities nearby.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care across theatre, wards, and consultation settings in a busy hospital environment
  • Support the diagnosis and treatment of complex cases alongside a skilled day team
  • Rotate through different hospital departments to develop and maintain diverse clinical skills
  • Contribute to the high standards of patient care that define Farnham Vet Group

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification
  • Confident, compassionate, and dedicated approach to patient care
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eagerness to grow, develop, and embrace new challenges
