Client Care Advisor

About the Role

You’ll be the essential link between clients and the veterinary team at Inglis Vets Hospital and its branch surgeries across Fife, Kinross, and Edinburgh. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours over four weekdays, with shifts falling between 8:00am and 7:00pm. Weekend day shifts are on a rota basis, and you’ll work across both the main Dunfermline hospital and branch locations.

The role demands someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with the public, and brings a genuine passion for excellent client service and high standards of pet care. You’ll need strong multitasking skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer client calls and emails, responding to enquiries promptly
• Check clients in for appointments and process payments
• Handle general administrative tasks including scanning documents and creating invoices
• Manage the main reception desk across the hospital and branch surgeries
• Work collaboratively as the crucial link between clients and the wider veterinary team

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy reception environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients
• Basic understanding of finance and solid IT skills
• Ability to pick up new tasks quickly with a flexible, can-do attitude
• Strong multitasking ability and genuine teamwork mindset
• Passion for animal welfare and client service excellence
