About the Role

You’ll be joining an experienced team of Registered Veterinary Nurses at Kirks Vets, many of whom hold certificates in various clinical areas. This full-time position works Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts) with Saturday mornings on a rota basis, giving you a manageable schedule that respects your personal time. Whether you’re looking to develop new skills and pursue further qualifications, or consolidate your expertise in a supportive environment, the practice tailors development to suit your career goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care across a busy small animal practice
  • Support clinical procedures in two operating theatres
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging (digital X-ray and ultrasound) and in-house laboratory work
  • Deliver patient care and support to owners across three consulting rooms

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification
  • Experience in small animal practice (implied by role level)
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
