About the Role

Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the welcoming Whitchurch team on a full-time basis. The practice operates across three locations, but you’ll be based at their new, large, well-equipped facility in Whitchurch—a bright, modern building with on-site parking and excellent transport links, including proximity to the train station.

This is a four-day week role (35 hours), with shift times typically between 08:30 and 18:30, scheduled at your preference. The practice also runs a manageable 1-in-7 Saturday morning rota (09:00–12:30), published annually with flexibility for team swaps. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team that balances high-quality care with genuine warmth and personality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of first-opinion nursing including nurse clinics, anaesthetic monitoring, and inpatient care
• Administer medications, take radiographs, and carry out diagnostic testing using your full Schedule 3 skillset
• Support all areas of the practice whilst developing your individual nursing interests and specialisms
• Deliver exceptional standards of nursing care as part of a six-vet, eight-RVN team
• Contribute to the team’s collaborative, supportive culture

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse

About the Practice

Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre is an established three-branch small animal practice, part of IVC Evidensia (Mars Veterinary Health). The Whitchurch location houses a modern, well-equipped facility staffed by six Veterinary Surgeons, eight Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, and five experienced receptionists and administrators.
