About the Role

You’ll be joining Rutland Veterinary Centre, an RVCS-accredited first opinion practice with an on-site 24/7 emergency facility. This is a full-time position working four days per week on an 8:00am–6:00pm or 8:30am–6:30pm shift pattern (with paid lunch breaks), giving you real breathing space between work and home life.

Your nursing work will rotate across inpatient care, theatre, and consulting rooms, exposing you to a varied small animal caseload. The practice operates its own out-of-hours service with dedicated night nurses, which means no weeknight on-call for this role—only participation in a 1:5 Saturday and Sunday rota (currently running at 1:8) plus an equal share of bank holidays. The team is moving into a brand-new hospital facility at the end of 2025, just minutes from the current Melton location.
