About the Role

Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists, part of the Linnaeus group, is searching for a dedicated Veterinary Oncologist to strengthen their oncology department at their multi-disciplinary referral hospital in Winchester, Hampshire. Whether you’re board-certified (ECVIM-CA or ACVIM), residency-trained, or working towards your Cert AVP in veterinary oncology, you’ll find a supportive and collaborative environment designed to help you thrive. You’ll be joining a hospital where clinical excellence and teamwork are fundamental. The practice brings together specialists across internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, neurology, physiotherapy, anaesthesia, and imaging—creating the ideal setting for integrated, multi-disciplinary treatment planning and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based oncology care tailored to small animal patients
  • Collaborate with the internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, neurology, physiotherapy, anaesthesia, and imaging teams to develop and deliver integrated multi-disciplinary treatment plans
  • Participate actively in clinical rounds and case discussions, contributing to the hospital’s CPD and teaching programmes
  • Communicate with referring veterinarians and pet owners with empathy and clarity, ensuring continuity of care and managing expectations
  • Contribute to clinical research initiatives and support the development of oncology services within the hospital

Requirements

  • Board certification (ECVIM-CA or ACVIM), residency training, or Cert AVP qualification in veterinary oncology
  • Strong clinical skills and demonstrated commitment to patient welfare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for working in a team-focused environment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and registration with the RCVS (or ability to obtain registration)
