1:3 Saturday mornings rota
This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon ready to step up and shape the clinical direction of a thriving small animal practice. You’ll work across four days per week with manageable 1:3 Saturday mornings, giving you genuine work-life balance alongside meaningful clinical responsibility. Based in Kidderminster’s vibrant town centre, Maggie and Marlow Vets offers the rare combination of a modern, purpose-built 4,000 sq ft facility and a truly collaborative team culture.
Your role will see you drive clinical governance, mentor the nursing and veterinary team, and collaborate with the Practice Manager on rota planning and team wellbeing. You’ll have full access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment, including dual operating theatres, dedicated dental and ultrasound suites, in-house laboratory facilities, and a calm, spacious environment designed for both pets and their owners.
Maggie and Marlow Vets is a sustainable, forward-thinking small animal practice in the heart of Kidderminster, part of Linnaeus and Mars Veterinary Health. The practice was purpose-built with both pets and owners in mind, featuring energy-efficient LED lighting, air source heat pumps, recyclable materials, and a thoughtfully designed clinical environment including a dedicated quiet space for nervous dogs, separate cat and dog wards, and a welcoming reception area.
The team comprises a Practice Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager, and experienced vets and nurses committed to compassionate care. As part of Linnaeus—the largest family-owned veterinary company in the world—you’ll have access to a network of over 6,000 specialists, worldwide development opportunities, and a comprehensive wellbeing package prioritising physical and mental health. Linnaeus is driven by purpose rather than short-term profit, creating a culture of excellence and authenticity across all its practices.
