About the Role

This part-time veterinary surgeon position offers the chance to deliver high-quality clinical care in a modern, well-equipped Essex practice just 18 miles from central London. Based in the vibrant, commuter-friendly area of Chafford Hundred in Thurrock, you’ll benefit from excellent transport links, green spaces, and local amenities including Lakeside Shopping Centre and Chafford Gorges Nature Park nearby.

You’ll join a supportive, professional team in a practice equipped with in-house diagnostics, imaging, and cat-friendly facilities. With a manageable 1:6 weekend rota and fair share of Bank Holiday cover, you’ll have genuine breathing room to balance work and life. Out-of-hours shifts are shared across a 24-hour hospital system based at the Dartford site.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and surgery, maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance
• Develop tailored treatment plans with clients based on individual patient needs
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
• Share your skills and contribute to the development of Medivet communities across the network

Requirements

• Qualified MRCVS with demonstrated experience in veterinary practice
• Passion for clinical excellence and client care
