Client Care Assistant

About the Role

Join a Medivet practice in Hinckley as a Client Care Assistant, where you’ll be the hub of client interaction and practice operations. You’ll manage everything from welcoming clients through the door to optimizing the appointment diary, all within a collaborative team that values your contribution. Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients on arrival, maintain warm first impressions, and update records accurately
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages promptly and professionally
• Triage emergency appointments by contacting clients and rearranging as needed to manage practice flow
• Manage the practice diary to optimize appointment availability based on team skillsets
• Ensure online appointment booking slots remain available for clients
• Process repeat prescription requests efficiently
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment

Requirements

• Excellent reception and client-facing skills with a genuine ability to prioritize
• Good numeracy skills and proficiency with online appointment booking systems
• Ability to remain calm and flexible under pressure
• Willing to learn and adaptable to practice needs
• Previous veterinary receptionist experience desirable (but not essential)
