Practice Manager

About the Role

Medivet Dartford 24-Hour is looking for an experienced and driven Practice Manager to lead this busy, round-the-clock practice. You’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations while supporting a large multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient and client care. This is a varied and rewarding leadership position that blends people management, operational performance, and customer experience within a fast-paced hospital environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client care by monitoring feedback and implementing improvements across the practice
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards
• Support the Partner/Lead Vet with focus on capacity planning, skills utilisation, and cost management to maximise commercial performance
• Maintain clinic rotas and conduct effective resource planning, diary management, and clinic workflow optimisation
• Recruit, induct, and manage colleagues, fostering engagement and retention across the multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership or management role, ideally within a clinical or veterinary setting
• Confident, collaborative leadership style with a passion for delivering exceptional care
• Strong focus on commercial performance, compliance, and high-quality service delivery
• Excellent organisational and communication skills; natural ability to build strong relationships with clients and inspire teams
• Proficiency in systems, data analysis, and resource planning
