About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with Medivet Dartford 24-Hour, a busy hub supporting surrounding Medivet practices with emergency and complex cases. You’ll be part of a dynamic nursing team delivering gold-standard care around the clock, working alongside certificate-holding vets, experienced RVNs, and a Head Nurse committed to your development.

Every shift brings variety—from nurse-led consultations and inpatient care to anaesthesia and theatre work. You’ll have access to cutting-edge facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, an orthopaedic theatre, dedicated ICU, and fully equipped in-house laboratory. Dartford itself offers brilliant value: just 35 minutes by train to London, quick access to Kent’s countryside, excellent schools, green parks, and shopping at Bluewater—perfect if you want city buzz with accessible weekends away.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care through nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities
• Support surgical consultations, procedures, and anaesthesia work
• Manage patient monitoring, admissions, and discharges across the 24-hour facility
• Provide outstanding client communication and care
• Work collaboratively within the supportive nursing and veterinary team, maintaining all regulatory and practice standards

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care
