1 in 6 weekend rota; full-time position structured across 4 days per week
Medivet Dearne Valley 24-Hour is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest and experience in either; internal medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, or neurology. You’ll work full-time over four days per week with a manageable 1 in 6 weekend rota—though the practice is open to discussing part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
This is a chance to join a purpose-built facility that’s genuinely well-equipped. You’ll have access to digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a full-body CT scanner, alongside in-house laboratory facilities. Three large consulting rooms, two theatres, and a spacious prep area mean you won’t be squeezing in between equipment. The team—led by Branch Partner Magda and Practice Manager Michelle—is collaborative and invested in your development.
Located in Thurnscoe, Rotherham, the practice is part of Medivet’s wider network of 400+ practices across the UK and Europe. Relocation support is available if you’re moving from outside the UK or more than 60 miles away.
