Ready to join a supportive three-vet team in a purpose-built countryside practice? Medivet Edenbridge offers clinical excellence, excellent facilities, and genuine work-life balance with comprehensive benefits.

About the Role

You’ll be joining Medivet Edenbridge, a purpose-built small animal practice nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside. This is a full-time opportunity to deliver high-quality clinical care within a supportive team of three vets. The practice, formerly known as Lingfield Lodge and established in 1982, serves the local community from a tranquil setting with ample parking—making every commute feel like a pleasure rather than a chore.

The clinic is equipped with a dedicated operating theatre for all surgical procedures, comprehensive laboratory facilities, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and cutting-edge laser technology for soft-tissue work. You’ll have access to a separate dental room, dedicated dog and cat wards, and outdoor runs. For advanced imaging needs like CT scanning, you’ll have access to Medivet’s nearby 24-hour hospital in Faygate, giving you immediate support for complex cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients across consultations and surgical procedures, maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and practice protocols
  • Develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients, ensuring transparent communication and informed decision-making
  • Work collaboratively within the three-vet team, sharing knowledge and supporting collective professional development
  • Contribute to the wider Medivet community by sharing expertise and participating in internal CPD initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualified MRCVS with current registration
  • Passion for clinical excellence and high standards of patient care
  • Team player with strong communication and client-care skills
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning

Benefits

  • Health & Wellbeing: Private Medical Insurance and Health Cash Plan from day one, 24/7 counselling and wellbeing support, Life Assurance at 3x salary
  • Leave: 5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays (rising with length of service), plus one extra ‘Day for You’ paid day off per year
  • Professional Development: £1,500 CPD allowance plus 3 days’ paid leave annually, access to Clinical Communities and internal CPD, funded certificates and internal career pathways
  • Professional Support: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid in full
  • Relocation & Visa: Relocation support and visa sponsorship available
  • Work-Life Balance: Sabbatical options based on length of service
  • Lifestyle Perks: Cycle to Work scheme, Season Ticket loans, staff discounts on Medivet products and services
