About the Role

You’ll join Medivet Faversham as a Veterinary Surgeon in a role designed around balance and professional growth. This is a part-time position with a four-day working week, offering either one Saturday in three or one full weekend in six—giving you real breathing room alongside your clinical work. The practice sits in Faversham, a picturesque market town in Kent with direct train links to London, countryside walks, and local cafes—the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your downtime.

The role suits someone confident across routine procedures and consultations who wants space to develop special interests without pressure. You’ll work alongside experienced vets, skilled nurses, and welcoming front-of-house colleagues in a genuinely positive environment, with a dedicated Practice Manager handling the admin so you can focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-standard clinical care during consultations and surgery, maintaining full regulatory and practice compliance
  • Create tailored treatment plans with clients and follow through on patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively within the team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues’ development
  • Contribute to the wider Medivet community through internal CPD and peer learning

Requirements

  • Qualified MRCVS with current registration
  • Strong foundation in routine small animal procedures and client communication
  • Team-focused approach with genuine commitment to clinical excellence
