About the Role

This is your opportunity to bring your nursing skills to a quaint, well-loved practice nestled in Hampstead, moments from Hampstead Heath and excellent transport links. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team in a recently renovated single-consult space, supported by a thoughtfully equipped downstairs hospital and prep area. With a manageable 1:3 Saturday rota (rotating between Temple Fortune and Hampstead Village locations), you’ll maintain a genuine work-life balance while delivering the exceptional patient and client care you’re passionate about.

The practice punches above its weight with modern facilities including an X-ray room, spacious prep area, dedicated dental suite, and closed theatre with separate cat and dog wards. This is small animal nursing done right—where your voice matters and your wellbeing is genuinely supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes
• Support veterinary surgeons in consultations, surgeries, and procedures, maintaining all regulatory and operational standards
• Manage patient monitoring, admissions, and discharges with meticulous care
• Deliver outstanding client communication and service
• Collaborate within the small practice team, contributing to a supportive working environment
• 1 in 3 Saturday run shift between Temple fortune and Hampstead Village (Saturdays 9:00-13:00 TF and then 14:00 – 17:00 HV)

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care
• Team player mentality with genuine interest in supporting colleagues
• Ability to work across diverse nursing activities in a small team setting
