Veterinary Surgeon – Branch Partner

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to step into practice ownership as a Branch Partner with Medivet, a model designed specifically for vets who want the autonomy and financial rewards of ownership without the isolation or overwhelming admin burden. You’ll take over the running of Medivet North Harrow, a well-established practice serving the local community since the 1960s, with the backing of Medivet’s support network handling everything from payroll to compliance.

The practice has a solid, loyal client base and is well-equipped with modern facilities including a therapeutic laser.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the practice as Branch Partner, with full operational autonomy and support from Medivet’s central team
• Manage a dedicated support team: one Vet, Head RVN, 3 VCAs, and part-time Practice Manager
• Grow your team and expand capacity as the clinic develops
• Drive clinical standards and client experience across varied surgical and medical caseload
• Mentor and develop your team members in a supportive environment
• Liaise with Medivet 24 Hour Watford (a short drive away) for specialist support in surgery, imaging, medicine, and cardiology when needed

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with ambition to grow and develop a practice
• Strong leadership potential and genuine interest in business development
• Keen interest in soft tissue surgery (valued but not essential)
• Driven by client experience and team development
• Previous commercial or leadership experience helpful, but enthusiasm to work with business experts is essential
