Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

You’ll be joining a well-established practice in North Oxford, led by two experienced partners who’ve built a genuinely supportive team culture. This is full-time work across 4 days per week, giving you structured time off while maintaining variety in your caseload. The practice shares weekend rota duties (1:3 or 1:6 full weekends) at their Woodstock 24-hour hospital, plus a fair share of out-of-hours and bank holiday cover – meaning the emergency work is genuinely shared, not dumped on one person.

Located in the heart of North Oxford, just a walk from the train station and University Parks, you’ll be working in one of the UK’s most vibrant and historic cities. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard clinical care in consultations and surgery, maintaining full regulatory and practice compliance
• Develop and communicate tailored treatment plans with clients
• Work collaboratively within a supportive veterinary team
• Share knowledge and contribute to the wider Medivet clinical community

Requirements

• Qualified MRCVS (small animal focus)
• Passion for clinical excellence and genuine client care
