About the Role

This is a full-time maternity cover position as a Registered Veterinary Nurse at a Medivet practice in Impington, Cambridgeshire. You’ll lead nurse-focused appointments and support veterinary procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance whilst working alongside a collaborative team that genuinely values its staff.

The role centres on delivering exceptional clinical care—from nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 activities to patient monitoring, admissions, and discharges. You’ll work in a supportive environment where your clinical decisions matter and your wellbeing is prioritised.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities in full compliance with RCVS standards and practice protocols
• Provide patient monitoring and care throughout treatment and recovery
• Manage patient admissions and discharges with attention to detail and compassion
• Support veterinary surgeons during consultations, surgeries, and procedures
• Maintain exceptional client communication and care standards
• Collaborate with the wider practice team to ensure seamless clinical delivery

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
