About the Role

You’ll be joining Medivet’s Crosby branch, a busy companion animal practice where nursing is valued and supported. Working 4 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays plus 1–2 bank holiday/on-call weeks annually, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of 4 vets and 3 nurses. The practice is located in lovely Crosby, close to the beach, local parks, shops, restaurants and cafés, with excellent transport links—making it easy to enjoy work-life balance.

The team operates from a modern, well-equipped facility with ultrasound, tonometry, in-house biochemistry and haematology, microscope, digital X-ray, blood pressure monitoring, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, and the Team 4 Vet practice management system. You’ll benefit from a dedicated nurse consult room and free parking, giving you space and practical support to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care through nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures
• Manage patient monitoring, admissions and discharges, ensuring all regulatory, practice and operational standards are met
• Provide outstanding client care that reflects the practice’s commitment to patient welfare
• Work collaboratively within the supportive nursing and veterinary team

Requirements

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care
• Team player with genuine commitment to supporting colleagues
