About the Role

Medivet Stamford Hill is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established, friendly team in vibrant North-East London. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours over 4 days per week, giving you genuine work-life balance. You’ll rotate weekend duties on a 1:3 Saturday rota at the branch, or 1:6 full weekends at the nearby Kensington 24 Hour centre.

The practice has built a loyal client base and a reputation for high-quality care. You’ll work alongside supportive colleagues—vets, nurses, and front-of-house staff—with access to Medivet’s network of 24-hour hospitals and referral centres for complex cases and continued learning. Stamford Hill itself is a diverse, welcoming neighbourhood with excellent transport (Overground and local buses), easy access to the City and Canary Wharf, leafy streets, independent cafés, and a strong community feel.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional clinical care in consultations and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance
• Develop tailored treatment plans and discuss options with clients
• Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary and nursing team
• Contribute to the development of Medivet’s clinical communities and support colleagues’ professional growth

Requirements

• Qualified MRCVS or equivalent
• Passion for clinical excellence and client care
• Team-focused approach and commitment to supporting your colleagues
• Willingness to work as part of a rota system (1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends)
