Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This is your chance to join a friendly, proactive team at a well-equipped general practice in East London. You’ll be the warm, professional presence clients meet first—handling phone calls, booking appointments, admit duties, and keeping the reception area running smoothly. It’s a genuinely rewarding position where you’ll make a real difference in every client’s experience. Working 18 hours per week across Monday to Friday shifts (7:45 am to 7:30 pm) plus occasional Saturday mornings, you’ll enjoy a genuine work-life balance with no out-of-hours or Sunday commitments.

The practice is a general first opinion clinic equipped with X-ray, dental X-ray, and ultrasound facilities. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that prides itself on being down-to-earth, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional reception support and client care
• Handle phone calls, manage appointments, and coordinate scheduling
• Carry out admit duties and maintain the reception area
• Support the team in delivering a seamless client experience
• Contribute to the welcoming, efficient running of the practice

Requirements

• Friendly, proactive approach to client care
