Join a thriving 8-vet team in historic Beverley with genuine work-life balance: 4-day weeks, no out-of-hours, and proper case continuity. Perfect for vets who want surgical development without the chaos.

🕐 Schedule & Rota

No out-of-hours shifts. Weekend cover on 1-in-5 rota (Saturday and Sunday morning only).

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position offering a 4-day working week (40 hours) with no out-of-hours responsibilities—just weekends on a 1-in-5 rota. You’ll be joining Norwood Veterinary Group in Beverley, a lively historic market town with excellent access to the Yorkshire coast, Yorkshire Wolds, and nearby cities like York and Hull.

As a new associate, you’ll develop a broad range of surgical and clinical skills alongside routine first opinion work. The practice sees a great deal of interesting and varied cases, and with 8 vets, 14 nurses (11 RVNs), and 9 support staff, there’s plenty of in-house expertise and mentorship available. Regular surgical time will be allocated with support where needed, and case continuity is strongly encouraged so you can follow patients through their treatment journey.

If you’re interested in developing specialist interests, the team will actively facilitate this. The practice also has strong links with sister hospital Wicstun Vets in Market Weighton, giving access to state-of-the-art facilities including hydrotherapy, laser treatment, physiotherapy, laparoscopic surgeries, and CT scanning.
