Ready to join a close-knit nursing team where you'll be fully utilised and genuinely supported? Norwood Vets is looking for an experienced RVN who thrives in a busy primary care setting with excellent work-life balance.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week across two locations: the main site in Beverley and the branch practice at Kingswood Hull. You’ll rotate fairly through operating theatres, consultations, and patient care, ensuring you experience the full scope of nursing practice and stay engaged with diverse clinical work. The team is committed to balanced rotas and fair scheduling, so you’ll genuinely have time between cases and proper work-life balance.

You’ll be part of a close-knit nursing team of 12, supported by 8 vets and 8 client care colleagues. The practice has excellent facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and laboratory equipment, giving you the tools to deliver exceptional patient care across a good client base and varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care across both Beverley and Kingswood Hull sites, rotating between theatre, consultations, and ward duties
  • Manage anaesthesia support and nurse clinics as part of primary care provision
  • Provide ward patient care and clinical support using the practice’s digital imaging, ultrasound, and laboratory facilities
  • Work independently and as part of a team to maintain high standards of clinical and client care
  • Develop your skills through supported CPD and continuous learning opportunities

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification
  • Experience in a busy primary care practice with varied caseload
  • Proactive approach to learning and skill development
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong patient and client care focus
