Out-of-Hours Emergency Practice, Lisburn

1:3 week on, 2 weeks off rota. Night shifts: 19:00–08:00 Monday to Monday. Weekend cover: 1 in 6 weekends, 07:30–19:30 (Saturday & Sunday). Two bank holidays per year.
You’ll be joining a close-knit, energetic out-of-hours team based in Lisburn that provides emergency cover for several respected local practices, plus inpatients from a Veterinary Specialists hospital. This means exposure to a genuinely exciting variety of cases—from routine emergencies to complex critical care—where your clinical decisions make a real difference when patients need it most.
The rota is built for balance: a 1:3 week on, 2 weeks off pattern means you’re not grinding through endless nights. Night shifts run 19:00–08:00 (Monday to Monday), with 1 in 6 weekends covering 07:30–19:30 on Saturdays and Sundays, plus two bank holidays per year.
