Ready to lead a nursing team that truly makes a difference? This 15-month temporary role at PDSA Glasgow offers the chance to develop your leadership skills in a collaborative, purpose-driven hospital where your impact extends far beyond the clinical team.

About the Role

You’ll join PDSA Glasgow as a Registered Veterinary Nurse Team Leader, supporting the Head Nurse in leading part of the nursing team through a busy, varied shift pattern designed to support work-life balance. This is a temporary full-time position running for 15 months, offering a genuine opportunity to develop leadership experience within a mission-led organisation that has been providing veterinary care to pets of people in financial hardship for over a century.

You’ll work within a highly collaborative environment where case discussion, shared learning and varied clinical interests are actively encouraged—creating an ideal setting for both supporting your team and developing your own knowledge.

A key part of your role will involve embedding Pet Wellbeing services across the hospital, fostering a culture of prevention, education and proactive healthcare. You’ll help coordinate day-to-day workflow, encourage appropriate financial contributions from clients, and maintain the high standards of hospital hygiene and equipment management that PDSA is known for.
