About the Role

Pet Practice’s brand-new Basingstoke surgery is looking for a talented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a growing, genuinely independent veterinary group. This is a full-time role working a standard five-day week with every other Saturday morning—no on-call, no Sunday shifts, no bank holiday working. You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team in a modern practice equipped with digital radiography, ultrasonography, an Idexx in-house integrated laboratory, and dedicated surgical facilities.

Located in the busy Chineham Retail Park next to Pets Corner, the practice attracts steady footfall and offers a vibrant working environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard nursing care across all small animal cases
• Support surgical procedures in dedicated surgical facilities
• Assist with diagnostic imaging and laboratory work
• Contribute to the practice’s reputation for exceptional patient and client care
• Work collaboratively with vets and the wider nursing team in a supportive environment

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (or experienced Student Veterinary Nurse)
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient care
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
