Insurance Administrator

About the Role

This is a part-time position working Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (8:30 am – 5 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) at Rowe Veterinary Group’s Yate branch. You’ll support a well-established client base in a lovely small town with easy access to Bristol, the motorways, and South Wales—perfect if you’re looking for that community feel without sacrificing convenience.

You’ll be the backbone of the insurance claims process, working alongside a friendly clinical and administrative team who genuinely care about what they do. This is a supportive environment where your attention to detail makes a real difference to clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and process pet insurance claim forms accurately and efficiently
• Liaise with insurance companies and clients to resolve queries and provide updates
• Maintain accurate and organised patient and claims records
• Provide general administrative support to the team as needed

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Confident computer user with experience in administrative software
• Previous administrative experience (veterinary experience is an advantage but not essential)
• Reliable and efficient with a methodical approach to work

About the Practice

Rowe Veterinary Group is a growing multi-site practice serving the South West with branches in Wotton, Brimsham, Thornbury, Winterbourne, and a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke. The Yate practice is based at 9 Station Road and treats dogs, cats, small pets, and exotic animals. The team is committed to excellent client care and supportive working relationships.
