About the Role

Spring Lodge Veterinary Group is seeking a full-time Veterinary Care Assistant to join their team across their six Witham-area sites. • Client-facing interactions providing excellent customer service and support
  • Reception duties including answering calls, scheduling appointments, managing bookings, and processing payments
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth running of the practice

Requirements

  • Full, manual UK driver’s licence (essential for this role)
  • Genuine passion for animal care and welfare
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to manage time efficiently
  • Compassionate and attentive approach to patient and client care
  • Ability and willingness to work across multiple practice sites
  • A can-do mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding care

Benefits

  • Up to £25,485 DOE
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave
  • Additional annual leave on your birthday (added to your holiday allowance)
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental, and surrogacy pay
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee wellbeing initiatives and non-accidental injury support
  • Learning and development opportunities via the IVC Evidensia Academy
  • Pawsome Benefits reward gateway offering discounts and cashback with hundreds of retailers
  • Pension scheme
  • Discounted staff pet care
