About the Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse at St Elmo Veterinary Clinic, you’ll be at the heart of patient care—monitoring health, supporting recovery, and reassuring the owners who depend on you. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position working 40 hours per week in a first opinion practice where no two days are the same.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team of 3 vets, 3 RVN’s, supported by dedicated receptionists and a Practice Director. The clinic boasts brand-new, purpose-built facilities filled with the latest technology: 4 consultation rooms, a dedicated theatre, separate dog, cat and isolation rooms, on-site X-ray and laboratory facilities, plus staff amenities including a rest room, laundry facilities, and parking.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients across all aspects of clinical work, working collaboratively as part of the team
• Support positive patient outcomes through hands-on care, monitoring, and clinical assistance
• Maintain the highest standards of practice quality and hygiene, ensuring excellent conditions for patient care
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through clear, confident communication

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
• Passion for delivering high-quality patient and client care
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
