About the Role

You’ll join the housekeeping team at Sussex Equine Hospital, working alongside one other cleaner to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across a state-of-the-art equine referral facility. This part-time position offers 15 hours per week on a fixed Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule (5 am–10 am), giving you the predictability of a regular routine without the full-time commitment.

Located in rural Sussex with excellent transport links to London, Brighton, and Worthing, the hospital sits surrounded by beautiful countryside walks and is just 20 miles from the coast—perfect if you value a location with both accessibility and outdoor space.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas throughout the hospital
• Cleaning and machine-stripping of floors to maintain presentation standards
• Wiping down and sanitising surfaces in line with infection control protocols
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal appropriately
• Replenishing consumables such as soap and paper towels
• Adhering to all health and safety policies and infection control standards at all times
