About the Role

Vet Direct, part of the CVS Group plc, is seeking a Technical Support Nurse to join their team in Newcastle. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a refreshing alternative to clinical practice. You’ll work office-based hours supporting veterinary practices across the UK, combining your nursing knowledge with customer-facing expertise to deliver technical guidance, training, and problem-solving around veterinary equipment and consumables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge libraries for equipment and products, ensuring technical accuracy
  • Deliver technical support to veterinary practices via multiple communication channels, resolving issues swiftly and professionally
  • Create training resources including videos, guides, and informational materials to support customer learning
  • Coordinate equipment loan services and manage liaisons with manufacturers for technical queries and warranties
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and propose solutions to the purchasing team
  • Deliver product training sessions to customers and colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning
  • Support the sales team and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure positive experiences

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with current registration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused approach with a professional and empathetic manner
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proactive problem-solver with keen attention to detail
