About the Role

This full-time RVN position offers you the chance to deliver exceptional clinical care in a purpose-built, well-equipped small animal practice just a stone’s throw from Bridlington’s picturesque seafront and convenient to the train station. With excellent transport links to Hull, Scarborough, and York, you’ll enjoy a genuinely balanced schedule: 40 hours per week with a flexible 1:4 Saturday rota (shift pattern negotiable at interview). Best of all, there are no out-of-hours overnight in-patient checks, so your evenings and nights are genuinely yours.

The practice holds Gold ISFM Cat Friendly accreditation and Silver RWAF certification—a reflection of the high standards you’ll be upholding every day. You’ll work alongside a supportive team and a VCA cohort who handle theatre turnaround and patient preparation, freeing you to focus on the clinical nursing that matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient admission and anaesthetic recovery procedures
• Monitoring anaesthetics throughout surgical procedures
• Performing Schedule 3 procedures within your scope of practice
• Delivering high-standard pre- and post-operative nursing care
• Collaborating with the veterinary team and VCA support staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Contributing to the practice’s commitment to Gold ISFM Cat Friendly and Silver RWAF standards

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Enthusiasm for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and customer service
• Ability to work flexibly within a team environment
