About the Role

Vets Now is opening a brand-new out-of-hours veterinary clinic based in Bannockburn, Stirling, operating from Bruceview Veterinary Clinic. You’ll join an experienced team of vets and nurses delivering emergency and critical care to the local community. This is a permanent position offering genuine work-life balance with an average of 40 hours per week—typically 3 shifts weekly—comprising weekday nights, weekend days, and nights, plus a fair share of bank holidays.

With a diverse caseload ranging from routine stabilisation to complex emergency cases, you’ll be continuously challenged and supported to develop. Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across a diverse emergency caseload in an out-of-hours setting
• Assist vets with emergency procedures, diagnostics, and patient stabilisation
• Manage post-operative and critical care nursing
• Maintain accurate clinical records and patient observations
• Support the team in delivering high-standard emergency care to the local community
• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive clinic culture

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
• Experience in emergency or out-of-hours care (preferred)
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
