About the Role

You’ll be joining Wards, a well-established small animal practice in Alton, Hampshire, as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient nursing care across pre-operative, operative, and post-operative stages
• Support veterinary surgeons during surgical and medical procedures
• Manage clinical nursing records and patient documentation
• Contribute to theatre management and sterilisation protocols
• Perform routine nursing assessments and monitoring
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain practice standards
• Support the practice’s commitment to patient welfare and safety

Requirements

• Current RVN registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
• Strong clinical nursing knowledge and practical experience
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Professional approach to patient care and record-keeping
• Commitment to continuing professional development
