About the Role

Wellpet Veterinary Practice is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their small, close-knit team in Shenley, Hertfordshire. You’ll work 40 hours per week, typically between 08:30 and 20:00, with flexibility built in around your preferences—most days average 8 hours. Weekend cover is shared fairly: you’ll work 1 in 4 Saturday half-days (08:15–13:15) and receive a day off in lieu afterwards, so your work-life balance genuinely matters here.

The role spans two surgeries. The main site is beautifully located in Shenley on spacious grounds, with a consult-only satellite practice in Edgware, Middlesex (about 15 minutes away). • Participate in professional development and continuing education

Requirements

  • Current RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of veterinary nursing
  • Team-focused, upbeat attitude with strong communication skills
  • Driving licence preferred (but not essential)

Benefits

The clinical team brings more than 25 years of combined experience, and the practice invests heavily in its people, premises, and processes. As part of IVC Evidensia, you’ll benefit from wider resources including the IVC Academy, quality improvement programmes, and infection prevention initiatives.
